"Please Please Please" by Fiona Apple |

For the day of Independence, Mick and I traveled three hours north to East Tawas for my grandmother's 70th birthday surprise. Besides consuming an over abundance of food, we played beach volleyball, strolled the docks, and ended the evening with fireworks and a send-off of floating paper lanterns. My Gramma Mimi was so surprised and so so happy.
This approaching week is bizzy bizzy; I will be in Kalamazoo for half of Thursday, then its time to travel back to Detroit for Mick's acoustic show at Corktown Tavern with The Satin Peaches. I also have to squeeze in Pedro's headshots sometime this week and have also decided its time to devote myself to my script; that way when August approaches, I won't have embarrassed myself in front of the retired chair of my department. So much to learn about Iraqi women...
P.S. I moved all my shyt over to blogger. Follow my blog here.
